New life for the Hotel Mittaghorn - Chapter 2
Since October 2026, we are the new partners in the general partnership of Hotel Mittaghorn KLG and thus the owners of the hotel. We have taken over the company from Urs and Christine Zulauf, as well as the construction project they initiated.

Our goal is to renovate the Hotel Mittaghorn based on the approved renovation project and reopen it in the summer of 2027.

Stephanie Apps & Patrick Johner
We are Stephanie Apps and Patrick Johner from Gimmelwald; we work in the hospitality and construction industries. Patrick grew up in Gimmelwald, and Stephanie grew up in Canada. When we’re not working, we enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and making the most of our lives in these beautiful mountains. We are excited to take on this project and look forward to many happy years ahead at Hotel Mittaghorn.
